One of My Favorite Resources for Stress During Pregnancy
Pregnancy can hold so many emotions at once — excitement, anticipation, uncertainty, overwhelm, joy, fear, and everything in between. When life feels especially heavy or stressful, it can be hard to know how to come back to yourself and feel grounded again.
Recently, Gail Tully, founder of Spinning Babies® shared a free ebook called Safe Inside: Stress Resilience During Pregnancy, and I wanted to pass it along as a resource for the mothers in my community. It’s a gentle, research-informed guide filled with simple ways to support your nervous system, strengthen connection with your baby, and create small moments of calm during pregnancy.
Inside the ebook, you’ll find:
Simple grounding practices to help calm the body and nervous system
Gentle bonding activities to support connection with your baby
Research and resources around stress, anxiety, and prenatal attachment
Encouragement for building more compassionate self-talk during pregnancy
One of my favorite reminders from the guide is that support doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes connection can begin with something as simple as a few slow breaths, a hand resting on your belly, and a moment to pause.
