Bodywork for Breech.
What to Expect
Your session will begin with a thoughtful pre-consultation to understand your history, what you’ve tried so far, and how you’re feeling about your baby’s position. This helps tailor the session to both your body and your heart.
During your session, we’ll focus on:
Gentle, sustained releases that bring balance to the fascia, ligaments, and pelvis
Supported positions that keep you comfortable throughout
Our Approach.
When your baby is breech or not settling into an ideal position for birth, it can feel overwhelming. Gentle bodywork can help create balance in your body and space for your baby.
By combining the Spinning Babies® and Breech Release techniques we can help support both comfort and alignment during this stage of pregnancy. These sessions are designed especially for families whose babies are breech or in another position that may make birth more challenging.
Techniques that help your baby find more space to move, including guided inversions, movements you can continue at home, and recommendations for complementary therapies that may help
Guided education throughout, with supportive materials sent after your session so you can keep nurturing your body at home
Parents often leave feeling lighter, more aligned, and more comfortable, and sometimes notice their baby moving differently soon after the session.
Is this session right for you?
This session is for you if:
Your baby is breech, transverse, or is otherwise malpositioned
You’re preparing for an External Cephalic Version (ECV) and want to increase comfort and chances of success
You are between 32 - 37 weeks. Please note that the most ideal window is around 32 - 33 weeks. Coming in earlier allows more time and space for your baby to respond to the work, which often leads to greater success.

A Breech Balancing Session is designed for parents whose babies are breech, transverse, or in another malposition. It’s also supportive if you’re preparing for an External Cephalic Version (ECV). The ideal time to schedule is between 32–37 weeks, with the best results often seen around 32–33 weeks.

A Breech Balancing Session isn’t the same as a traditional relaxation massage. While there will be restful moments on the table with gentle bodywork, you’ll also be moving through different positions. Because traditional draping may not always be used, I recommend wearing comfortable, flexible clothing such as leggings or athletic shorts with a t-shirt, tank, or sports bra. We may need to access the belly while fully clothed, so having a separate top and bottoms is ideal.

No. A Breech Balancing Session is more than a typical prenatal massage. While there are restful moments on the table, you’ll also move through different positions and techniques designed to support your baby’s positioning. Throughout the session, we’ll stay in constant communication so you feel safe, comfortable, and fully supported.

Yes! Near the end of the session we love to offer additional support and education so you can do some of these things at home.
We recommend having only 1 support person present so we can help educate both of you.

Every pregnancy is unique. Some parents notice changes after just one session, while others may benefit from additional support. I usually recommend starting early (around 32–33 weeks) so there’s more time and space for baby to respond, and then reassessing after your first session together.
